Job Description:
The dispatcher is responsible for managing reservations, coordinating drivers and vehicles, and ensuring quality service for the limousine and airport transportation company’s customers. He works closely with drivers, customers and other company team members to ensure a seamless transportation experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer reservations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Assign appropriate drivers and vehicles to meet customer needs
- Communicate with drivers to ensure they are well-informed about trip details and customer needs.
- Manage last-minute changes to reservations or customer requests
- Answering customer calls, answering questions and resolving problems in a professional manner
- Monitor and communicate driver progress to ensure optimum punctuality
- Build positive relationships with customers to foster loyalty and referrals
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage reservations and requests quickly and accurately
- Problem-solving and stress management skills to deal with unexpected situations
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Local and route knowledge to help drivers optimize their journey times
- Experience in the transportation field and/or in a similar position is an asset
