Job Description:
Passionate about communications and marketing? Do you like being part of an innovative team and working on a variety of projects using your communication skills?
Reporting to the General Manager and in collaboration with La Fournée Dorée (France), you will contribute to the realization of Boulangerie Lanthier’s internal and external communication projects aimed at supporting the achievement of the company’s communication and marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates in the implementation of the company’s global communication plan in Canada;
- Participates in defining the main lines of internal and social communication (corporate culture, employer brand, etc.) in collaboration with the HR department and management;
- Proposes the choice of messages and the means of dissemination;
- Coordinates and participates in the use of internal communication tools (in-house newsletter, weekly flashes, internal social network, suggestion box, surveys, etc.);
- Collaborates on communication and organization of sporting events (brand sponsorship, etc.);
- Monitor digital, competition and communication (achievements and best practices);
- Collaborates with the Marketing and Communication department to define the communication objectives;
- Identifies communities on the Web that can influence the brand’s positioning;
- Collaborates with the marketing department to research new social media to extend the community’s influence;
- Participates in the detailed digital communication plan for the year;
- Updates and manages the webmastering of the Canada website (WordPress) according to news from the group and the La Fournée Dorée brand;
- Update and recommend on-line and off-line, internal and external graphic supports;
- Ensures harmony between visuals and content and guarantees the brand’s graphic charter;
- Product shooting;
- Writes minutes of project follow-up meetings and weekly updates, project feedback reports and project specifications;
- Project management and monitoring, coordinating relations with stakeholders (in-house, service providers, partners).
Qualifications :
- BAC or DEC in graphic design ;
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in graphic design;
- Proficiency in Adobe graphics software (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator);
- Excellent knowledge of social media and their use in a business setting;
- Strong writing skills and excellent command of French and English. Spanish is considered an asset;
- Mastery of WordPress CMS or equivalent;
- Interest in photography would be a plus.
