Job Description:
The Jr. Electronics Technician carry out repairs, test all family product operations, as well as assembly and welding tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Electronic board testing and debugging
- Carry out tests on finished products
- Welding to IPC-2 standards
- Prepare parts for mounting on loaders
- Prepare parts (“kitting”) for board assembly by subcontractor
- Counter service
- Perform cyclic counts
- Receive or place raw materials on shelves
- Assist the team with any other tasks assigned by the employer as required
Qualifications:
- College diploma (DEC) in electronics or equivalent
- Knowledge / skills / abilities
- Knowledge of digital circuits
- Ability to solder electronic parts to IPC610 class 2 standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to integrate at least one cell
- Good manual dexterity
- Methodical and optimal work skills
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams
- Knowledge of 5S applications in all areas of work
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Ability to work safely and as part of a team
- Ability to self-inspect in order to deliver quality products
