Job Description:
The Assembler-Welder will be able to perform assembly and welding tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out mechanical assembly of product frames according to work procedures;
• Assemble sub-assemblies with cables and connectors to be soldered, and final assembly of these sub-assemblies;
• Ensure compliance with production and quality standards applicable to the industry;
• Solder SMT or TH components onto PCBs to IPC-2 standards;
• Operating the Wave welding machine;
• Pressfit ;
• Perform J-tag, programming and cablescan tests;
• Perform TH inspections;
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings ;
• Complete various reports related to the work ;
• Assist the team with any other tasks assigned by the employer as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience ;
• Minimum of three (3) years’ professional experience in a production environment;
• Ability to read a mechanical or electronic drawing depending on the work to be done;
• Good manual dexterity and methodical attitude;
• Knowledge of 5S applications ;
• Ability to search computer systems;
• Team spirit and customer-oriented attitude;
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office ;
• Bilingualism, French (fluent) and English (functional);
• Experience with Lean considered an asset.
