Job description
Manufacture of aircraft interior structures and/or parts, such as bins, galleys, lavatories, sidewalls, credenzas etc and creating sub assemblies for the completion of aircraft structures, and/or parts using engineering drawings, company and customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Follow company and customer specifications, work instructions, technical printouts and work orders
- Document materials used in the process to maintain traceabilitySub-assembly of aircraft components
- Form and cut aluminum extrusions, fiberglass laminates and other materials to complete the subassembly, part or structure
- Corrects defects according to established specifications or limits set by the customer
- Yokes, edge application
- Assembly of subcomponents
- Assembly of aircraft structures and units
- Gluing and fixing of sub-assemblies
- Fixing of hardware, plumbing and some electrical components
- Laminate/veneer applications
- Hardwood applications
- Safely handle various regulated materials used in the process

Qualifications
- Education: DEP 1650 Hours/18 months (RTC, EMMM etc.)
- Experience: 1 to 3 years.
- Other skills: Good understanding of engineering drawings is an asset.
- Languages: Functional knowledge of French is mandatory. In the event that the candidate’s knowledge of French is insufficient, he/she undertakes to reach the required level during the course of his/her employment.
