Responsibilities
- Builds sub-assemblies of parts and structures, aircraft components, such as extrusions of aluminum moldings, fiberglass laminates and various materials
- Fills and seals surfaces as required to established specifications or customer limits.
- Installs trim and applies laminating material.
- Assembles subcomponents of structures or units.
- Assembles aircraft structures and units, such as :
- Binds and fixes subsets to the structure or unit.
- Fixes operating equipment, plumbing and some electrical components.
- Handles and moves raw materials and manufactured parts with care to ensure that integrity and quality are not compromised during handling.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- The ability to read technical drawings is preferable.
