Responsibilities

• Builds sub-assemblies of parts and structures, aircraft components, such as extrusions of aluminum moldings, fiberglass laminates and various materials
• Fills and seals surfaces as required to established specifications or customer limits.
• Installs trim and applies laminating material.
• Assembles subcomponents of structures or units.
• Assembles aircraft structures and units, such as :
• Binds and fixes subsets to the structure or unit.
• Fixes operating equipment, plumbing and some electrical components.
• Handles and moves raw materials and manufactured parts with care to ensure that integrity and quality are not compromised during handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• The ability to read technical drawings is preferable.
